Houston: We have a problem!

So, we have been in Paris for a day and a half. We have had two lunches and two dinners (we slept through breakfast this morning). Besides that we have purchased a lip gloss and 2 postcards and yet we have spent 300 euros! Our meals were not in fancy places, in fact we have eaten in neighborhood bistros that had less than two dollar signs (out of four) in the guide book. At this rate we will be out of money by Tuesday! It doesn’t help that the exchange rate is almost double, so really we have spent close to $600. Gone are the days when artists came to Paris for the affordable cost of living.
